Yes! Our classes are recorded. Only the student(s) enrolled in that class have access to the recording. We believe that recording the classes provides an extra level of online security for your child, and gives them a chance to review and practice the content learned that day. *You can opt out of the recording by request.

No, we do not consider ourselves tutors. We are teachers who teach a full year’s curriculum of the selected courses. With the input of the parent, we put together a year-long class that is a perfect fit for each child.

We are happy to discuss ways we may be able to collaborate with other businesses for the betterment of the families we serve. Please email us at: [email protected] or [email protected] to share your proposition.

We also are proud to help promote the small businesses of homeschool families in our “Mom’s Lounge.” If you own a small business that you would like us to promote, please email us your website for consideration. At this time, we are not equipped to help promote local businesses, but we hope to be able to add a local directory in the future.

Subscribers can register for any monthly adult class or schedule a call using credits to the Merithub portal.

Each subscriber will receive a number of credits per month that can be used to “buy” admission into the classes of their choice, or to schedule a call with their preferred staff member. At the beginning of each new month, credits will be replenished to be used during that current month. If class times don’t work for a parent’s schedule, recordings of the class session will be available.

Our classes are 25 minutes each for K-5th grade, and 45 minutes for 6-12th grade. This accounts for the shorter attention span of younger children and emphasizes quality over quantity. 25 minutes is about the maximum amount of time younger children are able to focus well, while older children can handle more. We also provide independent practice for continued learning after each class.

Our homeschool community subscription is designed to enhance your homeschool experience

by providing resources, mentorship, ideas, teaching tools, online classes, community activities, and more. This all-inclusive subscription helps to “fill in the gaps” of home education and keeps families moving forward if they get stuck. With our homeschool community, parents have the option to email questions to staff, meet online with other parents to share experiences, and schedule individual calls with a staff member. They also have access to adult classes about homeschooling; vooks.com (online books for young kids); study.com (study materials and recorded classes for older kids- including AP courses that can translate into college credits); an expansive resource library; and other materials to make it easier to provide a robust homeschool experience- even to the beginner.

We know that homeschooling can be overwhelming, especially at the beginning.

We understand that there is a lot of pressure to succeed. The last thing any of us wants to do is ruin our kids’ future, and we don’t get a do-over. But, we know you can do it. The qualifications matter far less than the determination to make it happen. Homeschooling is about learning and growing together, and most importantly, about building positive family relationships by shared experiences. Our homeschool community subscription helps to facilitate these positive experiences. Learning can be a fun and rewarding adventure for everyone involved!

Our homeschool community subscription was designed to be a “safety net” for the homeschool parent.

Because, often, the hardest part of homeschooling is getting started. Therefore, we want to empower parents to do what they believe is best for their families. That is why we provide a wide variety of resources all in one place. Classes, community, access to an “expert,” other online subscriptions, pen pals, art and elective ideas, a “lounge” for homeschool parents to shop each other’s storefronts and connect… With our homeschool community, you can pick and choose the ones that best fit your homeschool adventure!
