3: Decorate the Fish Scales
- Invite the child to paint the fish using various colors, similar to the scales of the Rainbow Fish. They can use watercolors or acrylic paints.
- Encourage them to get creative with the colors, making each scale a different color. You can also use a paintbrush to blend the colors and create a smooth transition between them.

- Glue the fish to a popsicle stick or a thin strip of cardstock and run it through the bottom of the card.
6: Personalize the Card
- Inside the card, your child can write a heartfelt message or a short story inspired by the Rainbow Fish theme. They can also draw more fish or underwater elements to extend the scene.
7: Optional Background
- For an extra touch, your child can draw an underwater background inside the card, such as seaweed, coral, or other fish swimming around.
8: Final Touches
- Let the glue and any additional drawings dry before closing the card.
