I personally create a to-do list to prioritize my self-care routine. I tend to let my self-care routine slip away without my to-do list. This isn’t because I don’t find myself important, it is just really easy for the busy days to slip away and then I realize that I have done none of the things I am supposed to do to take care of myself. I keep the checklist on my desk and go through it each day. This includes everything from remembering to take my vitamins to exercise, and “me time” to read a book or do other things I enjoy.
